I logged into my site's Joomla Control panel today and noticed there was an update to Mobile Joomla.  I clicked on the Mobile Joomla icon and it started updating.  Hoever, there seemed to be a loop as it kept going through downloading, unpacking, and installing.  After about 10 minutes, I navigated away from the page and got a message that my host didn't allow remote updating, which isn't true, and that I should manually download and install the extension, which I did.  I had to also install something from Scientia, which I also did.  Everything reports that the installation was successful.  However, when I click on the Mobile Joomla icon in the Joomla Control Panel, I get the following error:

Fatal error: Call to a member function data() on a non-object in /home/cincinna/public_html/plugins/mobile/amdd.php on line 70

Any ideas?  I'm running Joomla 1.5.26 and this was to update Mobile Joomla to 1.1.

It was fixed 10 minutes ago, redownload MJ package (this was a strange server-dependent issue).

I have this error too, but after upgrade if i go to cpanel mobile joomla i have error 500

diablist, what do you have in error_log?

And what Joomla version do you use (I can write you sql queries to disable MJ)?

Ok,

1. Run SQL
UPDATE jos_plugins SET published=0 WHERE element='mobilebot'

2. Edit Mobile-Scientia plugin (mobile group) settings to use mysql4 mode.

3. Enable MobileJoomla plugin (system group)

same trouble, no error in error.log only access_log ("GET /administrator/index.php?option=com_mobilejoomla HTTP/1.0" 500 26 "site.net/administrator/index.php" "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:13.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/13.0.1") - error 500 and blank page, no more info
