Is there a problem installing the latest update. I am using mobile joomla on different websites on different servers and I am getting the same error on all of them as if my server does't support it.

I have the problem on the following site:

www.poker-wizards.com

"Your server doesn't seem to support remote update".

I tried it with 2 different websites on two different servers and got the same message when the update was trying to unpack.

It [most likely] means that you have disabled allow_url_fopen setting in php.ini.

allow_url_fopen setting in php.ini is enable and this plugin is now disrupt my the look of my front-end. How can I disable mobile joomla till I fix this issue?

I do not have: "Mobile Joomla Bot" plugin in extensions-> plugin manager

It's the only MJ plugin that could affect frontend.
What plugins in "system" group do you have?
You could try to manually download and install latest MJ release over existing version.
