Hi, I would like to know how I need to setup/configure Mobile Joomla to ensure that it would still use only our existing Responsive template. It is currently working fine on mobile devices, but I need more speed and a smoother user experience. Currently using a customised version of Zenith II template from ThemExpert.

Yes. Just set empty value in "Templates" fields on MJ Settings page. MJ will rescale large images and allow to disable plugins/modules in mobile version.

PS. And there will be much more features and improvements in MobileJoomla 2.0.
