Has anyone done an extension of mobile joomla capable of detecting if the device is a tablet and using a specific template?

I'm creating a tablet template but have been unable to use it through the Mobile Joomla component. If anyone could point me in the right direction, it would be appreciated.

If you need this feature, you can buy Mobile Joomla Pro. In addition to tablet support you will get access to up-to-date remote device database, built-in device simulators, support of retina images, etc.
