I really want to like this plugin but it's hard if I can't get it uploaded/installed...

Can I install this manually - since the preferred method is not working....?

I've tried this plugin on 5 different Joomla 1.5 servers (various configs/versions) and it timeouts over & over again (cheesy)...

I've installed hundreds of comp/modules/plugins so I am not going to change vendor settings on standard uploading settings for this plugin... as mentioned in prior posts...

Are there legacy versions I can use....? Any feedback would be great...
