The front page of my desktop site has several user positions (user_1, user_2, etc.) that do not appear on the mobile basic template. Can these be easily added to the template? If so, how?

MJ 2.0 contains MJ Proxy Position module for such a case. Just create an instance of this module in, e.g., mj_top position and set "proxy" position to be user_1 in module's settings.
