Ok. I must have a setting wrong somewhere. The mobile site is displaying in all desktop (PC) browsers. This is my first time using MJ. I'm using the Rockettheme Enigma template and Joomla 1.7. I have all the mobile settings turned off in the template.

Weird thing also happens when I save the iphone template in the template manager... it changes my admin colors around in the Mission Control template (joomla admin). If I open the Mission Control admin template up and resave it, then the colors are resaved back to the way I had them.

Firefox UA : Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:10.0.2) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/10.0.2

IE9: Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; MSIE 9.0; Windows NT 6.1; Trident/5.0)

Chrome UA : Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1) AppleWebKit/535.11 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/17.0.963.56 Safari/535.11

Safari: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1) AppleWebKit/534.52.7 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1.2 Safari/534.52.7

I have the main website setup on a subdomain for testing purposes.

www.toprankeddesign.com/coachburt/

Any ideas?

Hi,
I loaded the site in FF 3.6.27 and it showed the desktop view. I added ?device=iphone to the url in your post and it showed the iphone view (nice job btw). I then went back to the desktop view using ?device=desktop.
My guess is that a cookie or cache is to blame.
Hope that helps.

Well that's weird because it used the mobile site through desktop browsers I've never tested it on so it shouldn't have been cached in those browsers, unless it was just cookie on my computer causing it. I even drove across town to another computer and it again loaded the mobile site.

One question... With the mobile version active, does it use the same homepage URL as the desktop version? Or should it redirect to ?device=iphone when detected.

Basically i go to the URL www.toprankeddesign.com/coachburt and i see the mobile version... is this normal? Should it have redirected? Maybe I should setup a mobile domain?

?device= is used if current mode differs from default mode for the device (e.g. full version on mobile device or mobile version on desktop).

I see full version of www.toprankeddesign.com/coachburt/ in my browsers (Google Chrome, Firefox).

The System Cache is not enable and there isn't any other caching enabled.
