Hi there. Viewing my site on a desktop reverts to a mobile template whenever Mobile - ScientiaMobile is enabled, while Mobile - Simple and Mobile - AMDD don't appear to register my phone as a mobile at all.

This is what my header returns:

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.31 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/26.0.1410.64 Safari/537.31

and I have logged no errors.

I don't know where to go from here to make Mobile Joomla work properly. Can you please point me in the right direction?

Thanks.

Do you use 3rdparty caching solutions (an extension for Joomla, or caching proxy like Varnish)?

Hi. Thanks for getting back to me so fast. I do use a 3rd party caching. I use Jotcache and after testing it seems to be what is causing the issue. Do you know if there is a way for Mobile Joomla to work in combination with Jotcache?

Thanks again.

Unlikely it's possible without modification of Jotcache, because of MJ generates different pages for different mobile devices (depending on screen size, device type, etc), and Jotcache caches pages depending on URL only.

Go to Plugins -> JotCache and use Browser Split (Phone)

Browser Split: Split caching based on user browser type. Selected user browsers will use separate page cache. When empty no cache split performed. Multiselection possible.">Browser Split
