Remove header and footer from template?

Hi there,
I have a mobile site which I would like to remove all headers and footers provided by Mobile Joomla in order to only display the article (the article has been manipulated to be an image menu)- I have already removed part of the footer and the ads however no more progression.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks Chris.

You can modify mobile templates in any way, but I recommend to you make copies of MJ templates and modify them, because of source templates will be overwritten at each MJ update.
Also each template has component.php file that displays exactly component content only, so you could try to rename it to index.php.
