Installation File Corrupted?

I have tried for weeks now to install the extension without any success. The component installs but nothing else. I came to the conclusion that the installation file "Mobile-Joomla.1.0-RC5.tar.gz" on MobileJoomla is corrupted. Please proof me otherwise.
