Can anyone send me a link to installation instructions to upgrade from the free version to Pro? Nothing is working!

JFTP: :mkdir: Bad response
JFile: :read: Unable to open file: /hsphere/local/home/underseas/underseas.com/tmp/Mobile-Joomla.1.2.10.pro.tar.gz
Unable to read archive

Can it be manually installed using FTP?

Yes, unpack Mobile-Joomla.1.2.10.pro.tar.gz to Joomla's tmp directory and install it via "Install from directory" method.

I tried that too, but I got the message: Please enter a package directory

I don't know what that means. I've already wiped out my entire main directory trying to extract and install this manually. Obviously I'm not tech savvy enough do do this without instructions. Please help!

Also, I don't want to lose the setup in my previous installation. Will everything fall into place in the event I can get this to work? Do I need to uninstall the old version first? Some instructions would be nice. Extremely frustrated as my client is sick of "Candy Crush" ads popping up over his business.

What path is set in "Install from directory" field (usually it is something like /home/username/public_html/tmp) and to what server's directory did you uploaded unpacked files?

/hsphere/local/home/undersea/underseas.com/tmp

also tried

/hsphere/local/home/undersea/public_html/tmp

also tried to install from URL

JFTP: :mkdir: Bad response
JFTP: :write: Bad response
Unknown Archive type

Do you have size quota for underseas.com/tmp? Is it writeable? Is there similar issue with installing other extensions?

No size quote, it is writable and I've never had a problem before. I don't remember how I installed the free mobile stuff before, but I vaguely remember running into problem with that one too.

Check that following directories are writeable:

/components
/language
/modules
/plugins
/plugins/system
/templates
