With the new detection system, can the TeraWURFL tables be deleted from the DB? Or is that only in the non-free edition?

If you didn't install Mobile-Scientia plugin and old Mobile-TeraWURFL plugin is disabled or uninstalled, then you can drop that tables too.

I DO have the scienta plugin installed, and the terawurfl is not, was that what you meant?

Mobile-Scientia is new name for Mobile-TeraWURFL plugin (because of TeraWURFL library was renamed to ScientiaMobile DB API), but it still uses jos_TeraWURL*** table names.

Ok, so if I want it to be able to recognize devices, I'll have to leave the plugin enabled, and the tables in place, right?

Yes. Or switch to our AMDD database.

But isn't that only for the pay version? I don't see any settings where I can select an AMDD database here...

Mobile-AMDD is included in both MJ versions.
MJ Pro has an additional feature to use remote device database that contains more devices than AMDD and includes some tricks to correctly detect screen size for new devices.

I see, and just by disabling both plugins it will revert to amdd?

Yes, if Mobile-AMDD is enabled.
