Hi ,
We tried to use the Mobile Joomla. It worked at first.
Then we made a lot of changes in the menus and text.
The website showed all the changes with regular browser, but the mobile version would still show the old version of the site.
I tried to empty the cache, reset the cache on my cell phones, but it still came up as the old version.
What needs to be done in this case ?
Thanks
What is URL of your site?
Hi ,
www.station11.org , but i removed the extension since it was not working for us.
Actually, I don't know how it's possible to get such an issue. Possible (but unlikely) reasons are:
1. Server-side caching (using System-Cache plugin, native caching in webserver, caching proxy, etc.)
2. You setup another page for mobile homepage, that's why changing of desktop homepage doesn't affect mobile one (but it affects homepage only).
3. You setup mobile domain for your website, and move your website to another server. As a result, mobile and desktop domains could be resolved to different IP (one of them corresponds to old server).
HI ,
I will reinstall right now, and will make some changes later tonight to check it out.
I'll write back my results in here.
I just installed it.
None of the menus are present.
Just the highlights of the main page.
Content is the same, but there is no menu module in mobile version. By default MJ displays "mainmenu" menu module only, but all your menu items are contained in About menu, so most likely you should change displayed menu in settings of Mobile Menu module.
So it is not possible to display all of the menus..?
Yes, by creating additional instances of mobile menu module, choosing corresponding menus in modules settings, and publishing them in one of mobile template positions.
Hi ,
It looks like that made it.
is there a documentation that explains this somewhere ?
This would have prevent me to go crazy ?
Also, how do I do so all the articles on the front page show up, and not only the first one ?
Thank you
