iphone, no home component, 2nd and 3rd middle mods don't show

First off, thanks for a great component. I spent the better part of today figuring out this problem:

J 1.5.23
MJ 0.9.12

In the iphone template, if you choose to have the Home Component not show, the 2nd and 3rd middle mod positions assigned do not show.
