Making a "back to mobile version" link.

I would like to make a link in the footer of my 'desktop' site that sends the visitor back to the mobile sniffer. What's the best way to do this? I would like to avoid using a multi-domain approach if that's possible. Thanks much for any advice.

I made my 'back to mobile' link index.php?device=desktop and it works fine on the mobile_pda devices. I can click back and forth fine between the mobile and the standard sites.

When I click the link on the iPhone however, it goes back to the mobile_pda layout instead of the iphone layout. Any ideas? Thanks much.

Hi,
One way to create the link is to make a copy of the select markup module.
Joomla backend admin.
Extensions > Module Manager
make a copy of "Select Markup"
publish the copy to position footer
(The original select markup is in position mj_all_footer).
I am not sure why the link you described is going back to mobile_pda

Hi Barnabas. I copied the select markup module and put it in the footer, but going back and forth between standard and mobile sites on the iPhone still brings me back to pda_mobile. I wonder why this could be happening? Any ideas?

Hate to say it, but because of server issues, the site is on localhost only at the moment. I'll check back in to this thread as soon as it is online. Thanks for your patience, Dryabov.
