just set up mobile joomla. seems to be working, the menu functions, text and images are there.
but it looks nothing like my site. 

using joomla 1.5
mobile joomla 1.0
hosting with inmotion
tested with iphone

It shouldn't look like your primary site. What Mobile Joomla does is switch the template based on the device/browser that you are using.
