hi - there are several posts on this here in the forum, but as far as I can see there has not been a solution posted

the option to copy a menu has been removed from joomla 1.7 - how do you copy a menu to create the mobile menu?

Just make an empty menu and then copy items via "Batch process the selected menu items" block below list of menu items.

it used to be so easy to copy menus

this 'Select Menu or Parent for Move/Copy' is not letting me select the whole menu, or group of items, only one item at a time - I have 50+ items in the menu - do I have to select them one at a time?

(if so why do they call it 'batch' processing?)

On my installation (1.7.3) it copies each of selected items. Parameters of batch process: "Add to this menu" and "Copy".

hmmm on mine it get the error 'Batch process failed with following error: No menu items selected' if I choose the 'add to this menu option' - if I try to select multiple items it won `t let me, I cannot select the menu title - am I missing something?

Is there a way to get this done without the added (2) behind the menu title. You have to edit menu item for menu item to get rid of the (2).
