The default setting for images in 0.9.8 is remove all. (Previous defaults were Rescale if Bigger for all models except for WAP which was remove all)
You can reset this in
Components > Kuneri Mobile Joomla! > Settings > Smartphone(xhtml) > Image adaptation method > Rescale if Bigger
Components > Kuneri Mobile Joomla! > Settings > iPhone > Image adaptation method > Rescale if Bigger
Components > Kuneri Mobile Joomla! > Settings > WAP > Image adaptation method > Rescale if Bigger
Components > Kuneri Mobile Joomla! > Settings > iMode > Image adaptation method > Rescale if Bigger
