Got the same issue.
I'm testing with a windows phone.

Im getting the same thing aswell. Using current version 1.1.1

When using browserstack to test the mobile versions it only seems to work on iphone. When looking at the site using android and operamobile it only show the site as normal (not in the mobile setup).

Ive installed the Scientiamobile plugin. Also tried with just the AMDD plugin publiashed but no joy.

Did anyone manage to find what might have been stopping it?

Most likely you clicked on Full version link. To switch back to mobile mode, visit yoursite.com/?device=xhtml

I am facing same problem with old joomla version but after installation updated version it's run very smoothly on my I phone.
