1. Where do you choose Mobile_Basic template? In Mobile Joomla settings (ok) or set it default template (incorrect)?

2. Current mode (mobile or desktop) is stored in user's session, so that if you switched to mobile version using Mobile Switcher module, or via MJ Preview section (without closing preview popup properly), then mobile mode will be used further as well until you manually switch back to desktop version (via Mobile Switcher module, clearing of cookies, or visiting your.website/index.php?device=auto). Do you have Warnings section in the right column of Mobile settings (usually there is a warning displayed if your current mode is not desktop one)?

Version (desktop or mobile) is detected automatically at the moment of a visitor loads your website for the first time, after that it is stored in user's session and may be changed using Mobile Switcher module (in this case the version is additionally stored in cookies to don't reset version after the session expiration).

There are several ways to get mobile version in desktop browser:
1. The device=mobile parameter in URL (e.g. /index.php?device=mobile for homepage). The solution is to load /index.php?device=auto to switch to correct version.
2. The mjmarkup cookie with value of "mobile". The solution is to remove this cookie (load /index.php?device=auto should remove it too). Quite frequently it is happened if user opens website in Preview section and doesn't close it properly (via X button or clicking outside of preview popup). Also, in this case there is a related warning message displayed on MJ settings page.
3. Your browser is recognized as mobile (though it's very unlikely case). Try to open www.mobilejoomla.com/uatest.php in your browser and check the value after "amdd" text, in the case of desktop browser it should be empty string ''.
