Mobile Joomla! 2.1.31 Release

Mobile Joomla! 2.1.31 has been released. There are two changes:

1. The issue with lazy image loading ("a problem of disappeared images") has been fixed.
2. Local device database (AMDD) has been updated: many new devices are added, and ALL old devices (that we don't see in logs for more than three years) are removed to reduce database size and improve lookup performance.

As always, you can update to the new version from your administrative panel via the Mobile Joomla! Remote Update feature, or by downloading the Mobile Joomla! package and installing it from the backend. Do not forget to backup your website before the update!

Mobile Joomla! 2.1.29 Release

We have just released Mobile Joomla! 2.1.29 with many fixes and improvements:

• Fixed mobile pages in POST requests
• Fixed work of Mobile Switcher module
• Fixed ordering in category layout of Mobile_Basic template in Joomla! 3.x
• Fixed tmpl=component mode of Mobile_Basic template
• Fixed several warnings in Page Optimizer
• Added SEO settings (see Advanced settings)
• Added notifications about legacy Mobile-TeraWURFL and Mobile-Scientia plugins
• Removed robots meta-tag for subdomains
• Removed jQuery 1.7.2, 2.0.3, and 2.1.4 from Mobile_Basic to reduce package size
• Improved category view of Mobile_Basic template
• Performance optimizations

We have just released updates for all our premium templates:

• fixed RTL styles (for all templates except of Elegance that is not RTL-compatible currently)

• improved WebApp icons (added iPad Pro and Android) and startup images (experimentally added iPhone X/XS Max/XR and iPad Pro 10.5/12.9) support
• fixed menu module layout [Joomla!3.x]

• several bugfixes in content's category and categories layouts [Joomla!3.x]

Mobile Joomla! 2.1.26 Released

We have just released Mobile Joomla! 2.1.26 with following changes:

• Updated AMDD database (improved device detection, fixed detection of iOS 12, over 5000 new devices have been added)
• Improved support of Joomla! 3.x in Mobile_Basic template
• Minor backend interface changes and bugfixes

Mobile Joomla! 2.1.25 security update released

This new Mobile Joomla! version includes the following updates, including a security update for the free Community version users. If you use the Community version 2.1.24, please update to the latest version.

Changelog

• Fixed remote device connection fallback
• Changed how the ads.txt file for MJ Community version is handled
• Fixed several possible warnings in PHP 7.2+
• Fixed loading animation in jQuery Mobile framework
• Updated AMDD database

Security info for the users of Community version 2.1.24: previously the Community version added a file called ads.txt (recommended by Google) if it was missing from your webserver in order to show the support ads. This on the other hand meant that if you were also showing ads on your site and did not notice Google's notification about adding your own domain(s) to the file, there may have been a risk that you might have lost some advertising impressions. However, the new version 2.1.25 has been updated so that the ads.txt file is not created unless it already exists. If it exists, MJ simply adds a clearly marked line in the file. The line is removed if MJ is uninstalled. If you use the Community version 2.1.24, please update to this latest version 2.1.25.

Mobile Joomla! 2.1.18 released

New release of Mobile Joomla has been just uploaded to the server. New version includes fixed Joomla! 3.7 compatibility issues, significantly updated local devices database, and many page optimization fixes:

• Fixed processing of non-standard JPEG and PNG images
• Fixed CSS parser
• Fixed issue with merging of subsequent javascripts before </body>
• Fixed merging of Javascript and CSS in the "stream" optimizer mode
• Fixed merging of Javascript and CSS with "onload" attribute
• Fixed processing of <noscript> tags

Hey there! We have just released Mobile Joomla! 2.1.11 with these following changes.

Change log in Mobile Joomla! 2.1.11:

• Added collapsible menus in Mobile_Basic template
• Fixed issue with backend access using HTTPS
• Fixed sticking to mobile version after using preview mode
• Original unoptimized images are stored as filename.ext.orig (instead of filename.orig.ext)
• Added jQuery 2.2.4 (instead of 2.2.3)
• Updated AMDD database
• Tested in Joomla! 3.6 (July 12, 2016 release)

Mobile Joomla! 2.1.10 released and Premium Templates updates

We have just released Mobile Joomla! 2.1.10 and updates to all our premium templates (Elegance Mobile 2.0.13, Flat Mobile 2.0.12, Square Mobile 1.0.6, and iOS9 Mobile 1.0.7).

Change log in Mobile Joomla! 2.1.10:

• Fixed settings page of "Mobile - Forever" plugin
• Fixed layout for "Mobile YouTube" plugin
• Fixed editing of css/custom.css file from Basic Mobile template settings (Joomla!3.2+)
• Original unoptimized images are stored as filename.ext.orig (instead of filename.orig.ext)
• Allow iframes in "Remove unsupported tags" mode (following tags are removed: object, applet, and embed)
